Why do I need a Claude Pro or Max subscription?

The tools we'll be teaching you how to use are Claude Cowork and Claude Code, and neither is available on Claude's free tier. ChatGPT has similar features (Work and Codex), and the basic principles of working with them are the same, but the details and capabilities do have some differences. Accordingly, we can't offer platform-specific support for ChatGPT during the session.

You are welcome to observe without doing the hands-on portion, but you'll get much more out of the workshop if you can participate directly.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. The Cowork and Skills workshops involve no code at all. The Claude Code workshop does not assume you can program. While you're in the driver's seat, Claude is the one writing all the code.

What should I bring?

A laptop (Mac or Windows) and its charger, with the Claude desktop app installed and signed in to your Pro or Max account. Also, bring an idea of at least one or two repetitive work tasks you'd love to spend less time on.

Where are the workshops held?

At the University of Saint Joseph, 1678 Asylum Ave, West Hartford. The exact room location and parking will be sent to participants closer to the session date.

What if I can't make it after I've registered?

Full refund up to 48 hours before the session; after that we can move you to another date. We reserve the right to cancel a session, including for low enrollment, in which case you choose a full refund or a seat in another session.
